Golden Ube Latte
UBÉRA meets turmeric. Mild, spiced, comforting.
The golden ube latte pairs two coloured powders: turmeric, which brings the gold and a hint of spice, and ube, which brings sweetness and a purple tint. Together, in hot almond milk, they make an amber drink with mauve reflections, round and warming. A pinch of cinnamon on top finishes the cup. Five minutes, like the signature latte.

Frequently asked questions
Doesn't the turmeric mask the taste of ube?
Not at half a teaspoon: turmeric stays in the background, earthy and slightly peppery, and ube keeps its vanilla notes. If you prefer ube up front, reduce the turmeric to a quarter teaspoon.
Why a pinch of black pepper?
It is the custom in turmeric drinks: pepper lifts the whole and balances the bitterness of the spice. A pinch is enough; beyond that, it takes over.
Does turmeric stain?
Yes — light-coloured cups and worktops. Rinse straight away with hot water; for a cup that is already marked, a little baking soda and a sponge will do.
